Description

Sailboats are the most popular means of transport on Lake Michigan and are also infrequently used down the river. The Rustler 42 is the main type of sailboat used for trade and travel on the lake. It is a sturdy fiberglass cutter primarily used for ocean travel. Capable of withstanding storms and carrying decent amounts of cargo, it is a staple for acquisitions inScreen Shot 2018-02-09 at 2.31.51 PM.png the north. Although there are less than 3 dozen in Phanes Bay, they are easy to maintain although they are tricky to repair from serious damage. Their use is strictly enforced by the Barren Legion, although a handful haven't been seen in recent years...

The Sunfish and JY15 are also used on the lake but more often are used for long journeys down river. The Sunfish is small, light and shallow, allowing it to go farther downstream and can be manned by just one person. The drawback is it can only fit at max 3 adults and very little cargo. It is primarily used by advance scouting teams or couriers. The JY15 is larger and is easiest to maneuver with two people, but can be manned solo. It can carry more cargo, but it is harder to navigate in tight spaces so it is limited to how far down river it can go.
